CariPSA (Caribbean Practical Shooting Association) is an initiative of
gunclub Suriname. We are a team of enthousiastic shooters and since early 2006 we have been actively promoting IPSC & claypigeon shooting in Suriname. We are dedicated to further promote our beloved shooting sports in the region, which happens to be the beautiful and sunny Caribbean. As the information for shooters in the Caribbean is divided amongst the different countries in this region, we decided to start with this forum to centralise the information and see where it'll take us. We believe there is a need for a shooter's forum in the Caribbean and we're hoping this forum will bring our shooters closer together.
This forum's purpose is to provide information to shooters in the Caribbean region, ranging from shooting/gunsmithing tips & advice to firearm legislations in the different countries of the region. Also, we want this site to be a platform on which to share match agenda, news, photos and match results.
One last note, you will need to
register before you will be able to view or participate in the forum. This is a private forum. We urge everyone to enter their first and last name in the "Real Name" field when registering their user information. There are two fields,
Real Name and
Username when you register. Your Username may still be an alias, but your real name will be displayed on the posts in the forum. We believe it will encourage people to be polite and honest, much like it is done on IPSC global village. Also, we believe it will help you keep in touch, on a personal level, with shooters you may meet in Caribbean Shooting tournaments. If you are an IPSC shooter in the Caribbean, help us build and extend this Community. Of course, you're welcome too if you're not in the Caribbean and are interested in the goings-on of IPSC shooting in the Caribbean. Your input is much appreciated. Tips & suggestions can be sent to
info@caripsa.com. Thank you.
